Prudent Engineering LLP, as subconsultant LIRO Engineers Inc., is on the team awarded the Construction Inspection services for the Construction Inspection Term Agreement for Region 7 of New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).

The contract focuses on highway and bridge projects in Region 5, which includes Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara of Western New York State.

Construction Inspection Manager Beverly Strachan will manage the Prudent Engineering inspection staff assigned to the various tasks generated by the agreement.

The multi-year construction inspection contract will address bridge and highway replacement or rehabilitation, bridge painting, stone re-pointing, and occasional bridge emergency projects including detailed inspection, on-site field testing of materials and other construction activities as necessary, including field measurement and data collection to submit monthly and final estimates and progress reports, and preparation of record plans showing all changes from the contract plans.
