Prudent Welcomes David T. Vosburgh, P.E.

Prudent Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of David T. Vosburgh, P.E., as Project Manager – Bridge Design and Inspection. In this role he will lead structural design initiatives, bringing extensive experience in the planning, design, and delivery of bridge and culvert projects across New York State.

 

Mr. Vosburgh joins Prudent with over 30 years of public-sector experience managing complex infrastructure projects, including significant leadership roles at the New York State Thruway Authority and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). His recent work includes serving as Project Director for the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, where he oversaw a design team responsible for cable-stay anchorage retrofits and supported litigation and project closeout tasks. As Director of the Structures Design Bureau, he led efforts to implement statewide design standards and policies, manage structural allocations within the capital program, and supervise multidisciplinary engineering teams.

 

Throughout his career, Mr. Vosburgh has delivered innovative solutions in bridge rehabilitation, structural design, and transportation infrastructure, consistently ensuring projects are completed with technical excellence and within budget and schedule. With decades of experience guiding structural design on major public infrastructure projects, he brings seasoned perspective and proven leadership to Prudent’s growing structural engineering practice.
