NYS Route 960H over Catatonk Creek

Prudent Engineering's design team was retained as subconsultant to provide design services for the bridge superstructure replacement of New York State Route 960H over the Catatonk Creek in the Village of Candor in Tioga County, New York. The replacement superstructure is a 39’-2” wide, three-span continuous bridge totaling 230 feet in length. The project involved removing the precast box-beam primary members, eliminating the three simple-span configurations, and installing a steel multi-beam, three-span continuous superstructure system with precast deck panels. Prudent completed the following tasks for this project:

Demolition & Removal of the Superstructure
Substructure Modifications & Bearing Replacement
Design of the Precast Deck Panels
Structural Steel Design
WZTC – Pedestrian Bridge Design
Installation of New Approach Slabs
Highway Approach Work
