Our project portfolio features experience in bridge, highway, and structural design; condition and safety inspection; civil and site engineering support; construction inspection and administration; survey and mapping; and hydrographic services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We have an opening CAD Technician in our Design Department working out of our Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse office.

Create 3D CAD drawings from adjusted and coded survey data using the latest versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation In-Roads Survey V8.

• Read and understand the terminology and symbols used in survey notes, plans, and maps for use in developing design mapping. Accurately transfer information provided in numerical, written, sketched, or electronic format to design plan drawings.
• Understand and apply client CAD standards.
•  Manage CAD computer files and understand CAD file interrelationships.

Requirement

• 3-5 years CAD experience
• High School Diploma or Drafting/Design/Engineering Technical School Certificate
• Skilled in MS Office 365
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Versatility to work On-Site or Remotely
